I've been feeling rather insufficient for a while now. That there would always be someone smarter, better, more interesting, thinner, better looking, and more succesful at everything than me. But comparing yourself to everyone else - will that ever make me happy? I should start accepting myself as I am.

So here's a picture I don't think I've ever posted before - a picture with my teeth showing.
My smile has always been one of my biggest insecurities about my appearance, to the point where I was afraid of talking with people I have just met, because it's one of the features most people notice first when meeting new people. I've always covered my smile when laughing.
But I don't want to compare myself to others anymore. I want to be proud of who I am, and actually like myself. I don't want to block myself from being happy.

It seems silly, but for me it's a huge step, even if it's just a picture of my smile.
